Have you all tried using Clear Scraps acrylic ornaments on your layout? I've done this in quite a number of my Christmas layouts! The different element adds an elegant touch to your layout.
In the above layout, I've used the acrylic ornament to accentuate a cold winter Christmas.
Simply just dab some white acrylic paint around it for the effect above. If you want it to be more texturized, use white gesso or texture paste.
Hope you all like today's little tip. Happy scrapping!
Hi everyone, Connie here with some acrylic ornaments!! My goal is to have a Christmas tree with all handmade ornaments and trim. Every year I add to my collection.
I used S.E.I. (Chalet) to put behind the acrylic ornaments.
It is all glued with Zip Dry by Beacon and 3-in-1 by Beacon.
These are done using the sam supplies. I added some rhinestones and glitter to these.
Hello everyone this is Adora hosting today's blog post for you. Can you believe December in here again. Are you excited yet? Do you have a lists of things to do that you check mark as you go along. Today I am sharing this card I created with the X-Tree Send-it-Clear card, one thing I can check off my list :)
I love that this can be more than a card, it's a keepsake. It's a solid piece that you can put on the mantle for added Christmas decor. It comes in 3 acrylic pieces. It's a lot of fun to work on.For a little variation, I glued the front 2 acrylic pieces together onto a patterned paper . I use green inkpad to add color onto the acrylic and to match the pattern on the paper.
Thank you for stopping until next time and more Christmas projects :)

Hi everyone! Wendy here with a Christmas layout using the Clear Scraps XL Dots acrylic.
One of my favorite things about working with acrylic is its transparency. I love to highlight it by stamping on it and keeping the pattern paper to a minimum. I stamped the holly pattern on the back of the acrylic in permanent ink and flipped it over and colored the front of the acrylic with alcohol markers.
Wrap the finished acrylic piece with copper foil. To bring the copper into the layout, I backed a SEI sticker with strips of copper foil.
Hey there CS friends, It's Pinky today with a couple of Holiday Projects to share.
First of all this is a frame I found at Goodwill for 1.99 with a 50% off discount- so I decided to turn it into a fancy holiday dry erase board using Clear Scraps!
All I had to do was take every out of the frame leaving only the back support and the wood frame- then spray paint it gold.
Measure each "window pane" and trim out a piece of Clear Scraps acrylic just slightly larger, then adhere paper behind it.
After that I adhered each dry erase pane separately to create cute little dry erase windows. I glittered and adhered some lettering and slowflakes with plenty of glitter and attached a hanger to the back!
It's a great time to go Goodwill hunting to make a special gift for a friend or holiday decor! ANY frame paired with Clear Scraps will create a gorgeous dry erase board, you could even make half the panes chalkboard!
Now I also wanted to share the new Creating Made Easy Kit with you for a special reason today- not only because it is an INCREDIBLE KIT! But also because every single kit will include instructions to this very project!
Here is the featured project and it was a joy to make.
Basically if you buy the kit you get a free class with it.
