I used my Silhouette to cut circles in my page and added patterned paper, sequins, and flair!

Here, I used my 6 Inch Chicken Wire Mascil and Diamond Crystal Glaze from Art Anthology to create this fun effect on my patterned paper! Very easy to do and it dries quickly!

I used a grid layout for this page! I cut different sizes of squares and rectangles out of my patterned paper and then stitched to the page.

Here, I used different circle sizes and patterns to create a fun border along the edge of my page.

Christmas tags with Lindy's Stamp Gang~

Hi, Connie here with some Christmas tags using the acrylic snowflakes by Clear Scraps and Lindy's Stamp Gang color mist. I started out by sprying the Moon Shadow mist on some white cardstock over the Snowflake Mascil by Clear Scraps.

Declindy5
I then cut them out.

DecLindy1a

Declindy3a
I added glitter, but the Lindy's mist has a shine and shimmer to it.  I also used the Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst.  It has a sponge adapter on the top of the bottle.  It also has that pretty shimmer to it. The paper is by S.E.I. (Chalet) and the Beacon products were used as the adhesive.

Declindy4
I placed the Clear Scraps snowflake over the white cardstock snowflake.  I used snow glitter on the acrylic snowflakes.

Clear Scraps Utensil Mascil Card Pinky Hobbs1

Pinky simply took a piece of Clear Scraps acrylic- and taped the new Utensil Mascil onto it. She used Krylon Gold Spray Paint to lightly paint and these fun gold utensils appeared.

After that she trimmed it out to 4X5" and adhered them together with a piece of patterned paper- hiding all the adhesive.

Inside she added this fun "You're TEA-riffic" stamp and fun kitchen themed stickers from a past Creating Made Easy Kit that used Farmhouse papers.

Hi everyone Monica here with a 5 days before Christmas post.  Today I am sharing a table decor piece I made.  I used Clear Scraps Tri Fold Regular Frame and some papers from Imaginisce

The flowers I made from the leftover packaging
Then I used a digi image to top it off ftamps - my niece is in love with stamps these days so I had to use a stamp for this decoration - it was a demand! lol

Create a Snowy Effect on Your Clear Scraps Acrylic

I've been wanting to create a snowy effect on some of my Clear Scraps Acrylic and I thought that this time of year was perfect.  Guiseppa here and  I am going to show how to do just that!

Holiday1

This is what you will need:

Clear Ultra Thick Embossing Powder

White Embossing Powder

Glossy Accents

Perfect Pearls

Diamond Dust

Embossing Glitter

Rubber Glove

Acrylic

Holiday5

First off you will need to combine all of the dry ingredients into a bowl.   I would use this formula and it depends on how much snow you need for your project.

1 part White Embossing Enamel

1 part Embossing Glitter

2 parts Clear Embossing Enamel

1 part Diamond Dust

1 small scoop Perfect Pearls (I used white)

Mix it all up.

Holiday6

Next you will want to add your Glossy Accents until you have the desired consistency.  Mix everything up using a popsicle stick.  Mine ended up the consistency of cookie dough.  You want to make sure that all of the ingredients are sticking together really well.  I used quite a bit of Glossy Accents.  Make sure you use it right away because the Glossy Accents is a glue and it will dry up.  Also make sure to wear gloves while applying the snow mixture to get it from sticking to your hands.

Holiday7

Pick it up with your fingers and just apply where desired.

Holiday8

You can make this dimensional by adding several layers.  Don't worry, it will stick very well to your project once it dries.

Holiday10

Holiday9

Holiday11

I used the Clear Scraps XL Scallops Shape and the Holiday Word Expression.

Holiday1

Holiday2

Holiday3

Holiday4

This was so much fun to do!  Give it a try and see how fun it looks.  Make sure you checkout the Clear Scraps Store to get all of your acrylic needs for your projects. Thanks for stopping by!

An Acrylic Pop n' Cut card tutorial~

Hi , Connie here with an acrylic pop n' cut card.  Yes sir!!!  It cuts beautifully. Let's get started. I used my scissors and cut the 12 x 12 acrylic sheet right down the middle.

Dectut1
1. Put the acrylic piece on the die and run it through the Big Shot machine.

Dectut2
2. Fold your card just like you would a paper card.

Dectut3
3. Then cut the cover of the card~like the photo shows above.

Dectut4
4. The backside will be the pattern that will face inside the card.  I cut another piece and cut about 2" off both ends and inserted it in the middle. The darker color makes the acrylic pop more.

Dectut6
6. I used 3-in-1 (Beacon) to glue it to the S.E.I. (Chalet) paper.

Dectut7
7. I used Zip Dry ( Beacon) to adhere the trim to acrylic card.  I pulled my scraps out and picked a trim that would match~so, not sure of a brand.

Dectut8
8. I pulled out the sticker sheet from the S.E.I. ( Chalet) collection and started decorating the card.  That is always the fun part.

Deccard2
So here is the front of the card.  You know with a pop n' cut card it is always what is inside that counts the most:):)

Deccard3
Here is the inside!!!  I love how it came together.

Deccard4
I used pop dots on some of the embellishments to raise them up!!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed this project!

Acrylic Borders Ideas

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a layout showing two ways to use the acrylic borders.

Clear_scraps_dec13_LOmusic_wprice1

I wanted to carry the music theme through out the layout, so I used the acrylic border as a mask. With the protective plastic still on the acrylic border, I held it down carefully and painted a wash of watercolors on my paper. I continued this on the entire sheet of cardstock until I was happy with the pattern. I randomly added a bit of stamping and splattered drops of watercolors.

Clear_scraps_dec13_LOmusic_wprice2

Next, pull off the protective plastic and ink the acrylic border with alcohol inks. To brighten the piece up, I like to paint white acrylic paint on the back over the alcohol inks.

Supplies Used: Clear Scraps (Music Notes Border), Stampendous stamps, washi tape, watercolors, alcohol ink, acrylic paint

Christmas Angel Card

Are you busy with Christmas preparations. I am , and I am happy to create some little gifts or cards for my friends.

Clear Scraps has some ready to decorate cards that are so perfect for Christmas Cards.

CardAngel

I used Angel Send it Clear Card.

I adhered the paper on the Angel figure and then just stamp an image of the angel of it wth Staz-On. Then I colored and partly the card base with red Staz -On, stmaped with some background stamps and embellished with the bling and the flower.

IMG_1167

I put my sentiment insede the card and made some fussy cutting.

So simple and really fast.

Little Miss Molly

Hi Monica here with another Clear Scraps project.  I altered and old jewelry box I found at an garage sale for my niece using SEI papers and the Clear and Chip Little Miss Molly set from Clear Scraps.
Then I took some of the chippie petals from the and put 2 together to form the handle for the front of the jewelry box
I used the scalloped square piece from the Little Miss Molly set on the front of the jewelry box as a photo holder where my niece could put a picture of herself, friends or whoever. I thought this would make it more personal for her.

I am sure you can see my big ole camera in the mirror I tried to get out of the mirror... oh well I hope everyone enjoyed my post for today and have a Fab Friday everyone!!

Believe Christmas Banner

Hello everyone! The Christmas season is upon us and today I'm happy to share a cute Christmas banner I created using the Believe Acrylic Banner!  This 7-piece banner comes with two stars, four pennants, and one adorable tree in the middle!

Clear_Scraps_Believe_Banner

I covered most of the pieces with patterned paper from one  of my favorite Christmas lines:  Pink Paislee's City Sidewalks (which I've been hoarding for over a year!).

Clear_Scraps_Believe_Banner9

Each piece has a metal embellishment plus a "25" somewhere adhered to it.  Loving these mini pennants that come in the banner pack.

Clear_Scraps_Believe_Banner2

I added Silver Pearl Pen to the outside edges of this star before adding my embellishments.

Clear_Scraps_Believe_Banner3

Clear_Scraps_Believe_Banner4

The star at the top of the tree has a thin line of glitter added for a fun effect. I used Glossy Accents and Distress Glitter.

Clear_Scraps_Believe_Banner5

Clear_Scraps_Believe_Banner6

For this star, I used my favorite and well-loved 6 Inch Chicken Wire Mascil and Art Anthology's Dimensional Crystal to create my background.

Clear_Scraps_Believe_Banner7

Clear_Scraps_Believe_Banner10

I added a small amount of paint in each "hole" then using an old credit card, I spread it across the acrylic.

Clear_Scraps_Believe_Banner12

And this is what you get! You can go thin or thick with the paint...depending on what you want it to look like. Don't be afraid to experiment!

Clear_Scraps_Believe_Banner13

Thank you for stopping by today! Check out the Clear Scraps shop for more fun banners and other holiday related products!  Have a great day!
