Clear, Chip and some Washi...going back to school.
September 24, 2013
Happy Tuesday Clear Scraps fans! Guiseppa here to share with you a couple of back to school projects. Now that we are all a little more settled into school, our kids are hopefully on a schedule, we can get to crafting more. Yay!
First off, I want to share with you what I made using Clear Scraps Medium Rectangle Deco Frame.
I decided to try something I haven't used a ton of...WASHI! I love the Washi craze, but to be honest I haven't used it a whole lot. So, I decided I wanted to make a custom teacher frame, cover it in Washi and give as a gift. To my amazement...this was so easy.
The Washi sticks wonderfully to the Clear Scraps Acrylic.
I also used a piece of Clear Scraps chipboard for the back of te frame and then covered it in patterned paper. I love the quality of Clear Scraps Chipboard.
What an awesome gift for that favorite teacher. Best of all...this can go right on his of her desk because it is so dang cute!
Next up...my favorite. Since I am a layout girl and that is my favorite project to create, here is a layout with my kiddos. This was their first day back this year. One this layout I used Clear Scraps Clear N Chip Little Miss Molly.
I used these as embellishments on my layout...adding acrylic paint to the edges of the acrylic pieces.
I love the look of the raw bare chipboard, so I didn't add anything to those.
Here is a few more details of my layout.
I just love the versatility of the Clear Scraps products and how I can make them my own. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to look at my projects. I hope this has inspired you to dig into your Clear Scraps goodies and get crafting. The kids are in school...what are you waiting for!
Adorable layout for back to school! Great take on using washi tape on the frame too!!
