The base of this frame is a page from the Clear Scraps Scalloped Square Album. I've created a number of vintagy looking frames with these pages, and they may eventually come together to create an album, but for now I have them on display around the house. I used the 6" Mascils Quarterfoil stencil and distressed acrylic stain to daub a pattern on the backside of the page.
Since the pattern in this stencil repeats, it is very easy to line it up and continue to cover the whole page.
After stenciling the back, I used Stazon Brown and a flourish stamp to stamp a pattern on the front side.
Then I decided I needed a little more color, so I flipped the page back over, and pounced some Viva Decor Pearl Pen - Copper - over the stenciled pattern.
The Clear Scraps Small Rectangle Deco Frame was covered in Viva Decor 3-D stamp paint. I just daubed it on with a makeup sponge.
I finished the frame by added some old lace and Piccolo embellishments. The hearts here are cut from corrugated cardboard box, using Sizzix Die.
Have you created anything with your summer vacation photos yet?
