Good morning fellow scrappers! Kay here with my latest layout using fabulous products by Clear Scraps! This would be my little Toby once again giving me his best over the shoulder pose! I've always loved this look of his and was very happy when I was finally able to capture it.
On this page I've used one of Clear Scraps more recent releases; the 6" Damask Mascil and a pair of Fleur-d-Lis Clearly Accent Embellishments.
Here's a close up of the masking design made with the 6" Damask Mascil. I used Mustard Seed Distress Ink--which I applied heavily because I really wanted the design of the mascil to come through nice and bright in the background. I then further dressed up my background with random dots of turquoise Stickles.
Here's a closeup of one of the Fleur-d-Lis clear embellies. I've simply traced the border with a yellow Sharpie paint pen and added dots of yellow acrylic paint to dress it up a bit more. I've kept the transparency of this embellishment intact for the most part & just let the colors & design show through from the background.
Here are a few more close ups...
As always, thanks for stopping by & I hope this project inspired some of you to give acrylic embellishments or mascils a try! Enjoy the rest of the week.
