Holiday Card with SEI and Clear Scraps
December 29, 2012
This morning I am working with the Send It Clear Bell card
and
SEI's Desert Springs paper collection.
To begin, remove protective film covering from both front panels of the bell, and the body of the card. Cut a 4x6" piece of paper and adhere to the body (the inside) of the card. Using your alcohol applicator and Ginger alcohol ink, add coloring to the edges and all over the front panels and bell portion of the card.
To create the 3d Bell, I cut bell shapes out (7 of them) using my Cameo Silhouette and the Blacktail Canyon paper. Once cut, fold all the bells in half.
At this point, you will have two sides open on the 3d bell, apply glue to the right half of the bell and carefully attach to the LEFT panel of the card. Make sure you do not glue the left half of the bell down, or you will obstruct the right panel from being inserted into the left panels closure.
Add doily, diecuts, and bow to body on inside of card.
Using wet glue, apply in a circular motion around the top and sides of card, then sprinkle generously with Martha Stewart tinsel glitter.
I think this paper collection is stunning and is so versatile for any ocassion! Do you think it worked well for my Jingle Bell Card?
Thanks so much for stopping in with us today!
