Jessica here, with a quick and fun project for the kids! With October past, Thanksgiving is quickly approaching. Seems to be the time of year our family always asks the kids "what's on your list this year?" So I created a banner (I LOVE banners!) using the Stocking Album. Thought it would be a fun way to document their 'wants' and a great way to decorate!
This was a great project for the kids. One they could do on their own, that kept them busy for a little while. Cutting and gluing, getting sticky, and messy!
To decorate the stocking, I used some really old paper from Basic Grey. Some solid card stock to match, and some trim from my gramma's sewing basket! I love finding stuff in my gramma's basement that I can use in my crafting. Makes each project a little sentimental.
I layered four rows of trim to create texture and deminson. I like using a hot glue gun when adding layers upon layers.
How do your kids create a Christmas wish list?

LOVE how you used the Toy Wish Book as pattern paper! I have a lot of fond memories of both myself as a child and now my kids pouring over those toy catalogs. Super cute banner!!
