Good morning friends! We're waking up to a new month and before you know it the Holidays will be upon us! I wanted to share with you the brand
new recipe stand from Clear Scraps. The kit is 4x6 in size and perfect for decorating and giving as gifts to your special loved ones.
Recently my daughter turned Sweet 16, and I decorated the recipe stand with special moments from birth through age sixteen. The KPC on the heart are her initials.
The tabbed parts of the album are the acrylic pieces. On this first tab, I stamped the birds and butterflies onto the acrylic using Stazon ink. This next photo shows you how it looks as I lift the tab up.
Isn't the layering effect just beautiful?
The stickers on the tabbed portion of the album were from 7Gypsies, and fit perfectly on the album. I was happy to be using products from my stash that hadn't seen light in years!
I wanted to have lots of photos in this album, so I created pockets and tags with my Cameo Silhouette so I could add more places to store the pictures.
The tags pull out and I can put photos and journaling on both sides.

Once you know what your album theme or in this case, the recipe stand theme is going to be about, the process of putting it together and embellishing goes pretty quickly.
My daughters main birthday gift this year was to go see Aerosmith in concert with a friend - they are her favorite band!!
I stamped on the acrylic, it says, Live the Life you've imagined.
My girl is the one in the middle on the right photo and the other young lady is her bff!
I left the stand blank here, but you could easily add anything you want! Not, instead of putting all the pages back to the beginning to start over, I created it so she could turn the recipe stand around, to look at pictures on the reverse side.
I add a rub on to the bottom on the back of the recipe stand to give it a small pop of color. see the teal strip?
The paper I used throughout is by Simple Stories.
Another pocket and both the tabs you see pull out to reveal more photos.
The possibilites on what you can create with this gorgeous
Acrylic Recipe Stand are endless! Imagine a Baby Shower gift, Birth thru one year! I think I would like to create one of these for all my children! I hope you enjoyed looking through this with me today. As always you can find me on
my blog!
Have a wonderful day!
