Bellgrave Send It Clear Card
May 09, 2012
Howdy friends, Leah here with you today to share a new to me technique and a beautiful Send It Clear card. We will be using the Bellgrave card, alcohol ink, Spray mist of your choice, and a Clear Scraps sentiment stamp.
Here's my finished card
I used my Cameo to cut out this butterfly using My Minds Eye pattern paper.
It is actually pop dotted on the card.
I wanted to add a little bit of product to the front panels, enough to create a frosted look, but not anything that looked like snow.
So I grabbed some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and spritzed it onto my alcohol ink applicator.
Grab your Mixative Pearl Alcohol ink next (shake well)
and generously add drops of it all across the top of the mist
I absolutely LOVE this pearl mixative. I need more in my stash!
Peel the protective film off one side of your panel, then take your fully loaded applicator and pounce, straight up and down, moving all over the surface of the acrylic.
Can you see the light pink sheen mixed with the alcohol mixative?
(In this photograph, the protective film is still on the bottom side.)
Let it air dry about 10 minutes, or speed up the process by heating with your heat gun. Then let it sit to cure while you duplicate the process on the other card panel.
I bet you can create some lovely creations using this technique.
Here's the card opened up.
and a closer look of the stamped sentiment on the inside.
I hope you've enjoyed today's card!
