Three Little Birds

Hi there, Tonya here to share with you today. My project is this adorable little bird wall hanging...

                                             Cs3birds1

This was made using the chipboard XL Bird Shapes (yes, Clear Scraps isn't just acrylic. They make the best chipboard on the market if you ask me!).

At first I had planned to hang them in a vertical straight line. Then when I took a break while making them I had them stacked on my desk in almost this same arrangement. They made me think of a cute little family of birds all nestled up together. Obviously I decided to stick with this arrangement and I think it turned out really cute!

                                            Cs3birds2

On the biggest bird I hadded a swirl of yellow pearls to give the idea of a wing.

                                            Cs3birds3

Then on the "momma" bird's beak I hung a little 3 dimensional banner.

                                             Cs3birds4

Then for the little birdie I cut out three vellum wings and layered them to give the effect of feathers.
