Shadowbox wall hanging

Good morning friends!

Today I wanted to take a moment and share with you another project I created using product from Pink Paislee's Indigo Bleu line and a 12x12 sheet of Clear Scraps acrylic and birdcage embellishment.

My oldest daughter has been collecting Pokemon figurines since she was four. Some of her collectables are treasures where she wants to have them on display, so I created something that looks cute by itself, but also will hold some of her special collectables.

I created the shadow box using my Cameo Silhouette and a file found in the Silhouette store. Before I finished assembling the shadowbox, I used it as a template to mask designs on the 12x12 acrylic sheet.

As you can see, I used a bird on the bottom left, some music notes on the top, and various other designs to create visual interest on the acrylic piece. This took just a few minutes using my Ranger Alcohol ink and stencils from my stash.

Here you can see where my daughter has some of her Pokemon figures on display.

Once I had finished assembling the shadowbox, I glued it to the acrylic sheet. It adds depth and creates stability as well, not to mention the stenciling is just cute!
