Making Wings...

Bookmarks....

Hello everyone!!! Hope all is well....I just  have to mention how beautiful the weather here in Seattle! The sun is up and that's all that matters :) . Perfect for Spring break, hopefully it will stay thru the rest of the week!  So, today I will share with you these bookmarks that I made!  I'm sure you have readers in your family.  These always comes in- handy all my nieces and my daughter are serious readers, my 2 boys not so much - but they can read! lol!! Here is what I made.

I used Clear Scraps 12X12 Acrylic Sheet, you can easily make  at least 6 bookmarks from it. I  cut 3 pieces of 7 X 2 then punch a whole on one end for ribbon (later) and now their ready to be embellished. Note; The best and only kind of glue to use with acrylics is the Zip Dry Glue.

One way of emebelleshing is by using paper. Cut 2 paper with  the same size. Adhere these papers on both sides of the acrylic. Smear some color on the bookmark and  Clear Scraps Expression Clear Word-Faith with Stazon ink pads.

This is the fun one. Alcohol inks are always fun to used with acrylics specially if you love colorful projects.  The backing paper is by Pink Paislee-Indigo Bleu and  stickers by 7Gypsies.

And my favorite .......embellished with  Acrylic Dress Form ! I  use Pink Paislee - Christy Tomlinsons Designs and Hambly transparency.
