Hello, Adora here, wishing you a happy Monday :)
Today I will share with you this album I made for my grandson, Ari!!! these photos were all taken in Spring! he is quite a poser :), he loves the camera and the outdoors. A perfect combination for grandma, who is camera ready! My kids calls me "tourist" coz I always lugged my camera with me almost everywhere I go! :) I am trying not to be "in your face" kind of photo taker but sometimes it's hard to avoid. LOL!!! I just do it with my kids though. Anyhow back to my project, I used Clear Scraps Square Scallop Album to house these photos of Ari.
Technique/How to:
For the album cover; I painted it with Tim Holtz distress cracle paint. Waited for it to dry and then stamped several image on top of the paint. (to protect the cracle paint from peeling, I also used Gloss- Lustre finish Mod Podge on top); Then I cut a square acrylic shape and added texture around using sizzix machine for texture and used it to frame the photo. Then I added the wings acrylic shape. (see how to make your own acrylic shapes). For the inside pages of the album, I simply drop several colors of alcohol ink to form a circle for background!!! Then I added all my photos and embellishments!
Supplies used: Clears Scraps Square Scallop Album, Tom Holtz Distress cracle Pain, Alcohol Ink, and Sizzinx Big Shot.
Thank you so much for taking a peek!!!
Adora
