I drooled over these ruffled ribbon strips from Pink Paislee.
I only wish they came in 100-ft. rolls LOL. When I see a product like this, I immediately think of “scenes” to use it in…not just across the front of a card like normal ribbon, but re-creating something from the world, onto a card or album cover. On this 8x8 Tabbed acrylic album from Clear Scraps, I used the ribbon as both a top curtain and the ruffles on a beautiful prom dress. The prom dress was made with 3 layers of this ribbon and the ends are tucked underneath before the dress form is attached to the album cover.
In addition to the Pink Paislee paper and ribbon on this album cover, I’ve used scalloped velvet ribbon from Cosmo Cricket, Extreme Adhesive Squares from Glue Arts, a rub-on from Fancy Pants, silver ink from Tsukinecko and alphabet stickers from SEI.
Thanks!
There are so many ways that you can use your Clear Scraps acrylic. On this one layout I have used it three different ways.
I started with a sheet of 12x12 acrylic that I used as my base for my layout. I stitched around the edges with my sewing machine to help the clear edges stand out a bit. Next I took one of the shapes from the Road Trip embellishments (the hexagon...aka stop sign), and on the back of my sheet I used it as a mask for some misting. (For this photo I used a sheet of white paper behind the layout so that the masked misted shape would show).
Next, I used that same hexagon shape as a template and traced and cut out a multitude of hexagon shapes from various printed papers.
Here it is in it's entirety!

Good morning everyone!!! I am so excited to show you my very first video tutorial. I am excited because I DID IT!!! :) it's really nothing fancy but I like pushing myself sometimes and technology and me does not go together well. And so for me this is big LOL!!! anyhow this is about how to make your own Clear Acrylic Shapes, ideally the
square 12 X 12 sheet is perfect for this project but you can use any Clear Scraps Sheets you have. I used the
XL Deco sheets since this is the only Acrylic sheet I have on hand. The video is also in 2 parts.
Thanks for viewing and hope you like it!
Other Supplies used: Sizzix Big Shots; Tim Holtz Embossing Folder; Stazon Ink Pads.
Hello everyone, Grace here to present you a cute card using the wonderful and versatile Clear Scraps acrylic sheets teamed up with some Sizzix fun!
Thoughts of you Card
I used some Tim Holtz embossing folder to create the subtle but elegant texture on the Core'dinations white cardstock background.
and then I ran some Clear Scraps acrylic sheets through my die cut machine using a flower die from Sizzix. It didn't cut all the way through but I love how the die made some deep impression that when I painted the backsides of the flowers, I showed the texture and impressions. I also added some Viva Decor liquid pearls on the edges for a finished look.
Now it's your turn to create something fun with the versatile Clear Scraps acrylic sheets. What will you create?
This will be my last post for Clear Scraps and I have to say that I've enjoyed my time in the design team, I learned a lot and playing with Acrylics and chipboards was an honor.
Signing off,
Grace

Hello everyone! In conjunction with the Sizzix week at Clear Scraps blog this week, I would like to share this little mini album which I've created using tons of embossing folders and die-cut by Sizzix. To create this mini album, I've used Clear Scraps chipboard travel brag bag along with the beautiful papers by Basic Grey. And some Tim Holtz idea-ology fun and cool embellishment is what completes this mini album.
Here are some close-ups on how I've used the embossing folders to create the designs and textures in this mini album.
I'm sure you all have tons of ideas in your head right now on how to use these fun and amazing dies and folders from Sizzix. By the way, do you all know that these tools can also be used to cut and embossed your Clear scraps acrylic? Yes! Custom your very own acrylic embellishments by cutting it out using the die-cuts and add textures to it with the embossing folder. Try it!

Good morning!
Cathy, Clear Scraps designer extrordinaire made this wonderful video tutorial for you! If you thought sewing with acrylic was impossible, look again.
Happy weekend everyone!!! I am here today to share with you this special in my heart album - "We Learn Best From Those We Love" . You can call it a little tribute to the women/girls in my life. I am truly blessed to be surrounded by these beautiful women in my life! This is why I love mini albums, quick and easy and a whole album dedicated to a theme of your choice. So, with this project I used the
Clear Scraps Chipboard All Mixed Up Album! & the beautiful Pink Paislee Pattered Papers.
I really love the combination. This album has five mixed up pages with a pretty decorative edge. It's so feminine and perfect for my theme. Once again, putting together this project was a lot of fun for me. Thank you for being here and hope you enjoy looking at it too!!! :)
Supplies Used:
Clear Scraps Chipboard all Mixed Up Album; Pink Paislee Papers; Studio 112 Chipboard; ribbon (joanne); Hof3 Printables; Creative Imaginations Rub-ons.
Thank you for looking!!!! until next time................have a GREAT weekend!!!

Yes it can be!! I created this fun hair clip organizer for the Clear Scraps CHA Summer booth. It's super easy to make and very practical. Plus it can hold ALOT of hair clips!
I used the Clear Scraps XL Scallops Clear Shape as the base of the holder. I inked the edges with black ink and then wrapped the shape with black ribbon to create a place for the clips to clip onto. I added a wire hanger and several bows to decorate the wire.
For the focal point on the lower right side of the holder I added feathers, bows, stick pins and baubles. I covered the back of the one of the Dress Forms Embellishments by Clear Scraps with Anna Griffin paper and then cut it out with a craft knife, inking the edges with black ink. I added that to the grouping of embellishments and added a Prima pearl flourish on top to bring it all together. Now it's ready to hang and store barrettes and hair clips!
