I know, you're probably wondering why I'm posting a halloween project in the middle of July. Well because I couldn't resist showing off what I did with the mini bat, ghost and pumpkin albums that Clear Scraps is debuting this month. I'm just too excited!!!
Halloween Banner
So for this project, I decided to combine all three mini albums into one long banner. Since the word Halloween is super long, I thought that mixing the shapes up (being all of them relate to the theme) would help me spell out my title and add that extra emphasis to my themed project
I first stamped some flourish design on each of the shapes using Versamark ink pad. I then painted them a bright orange color and then gave the edges a finished look with some purple Stickles glitter glue.
I then used the holes (which it already had) and tied a purple ribbon through them to connect all the shapes. I then punched out circles from Core'dinations green cardstock, matted it with black cardstock and added my glittered letter stickers to them. I adhered this to the shapes with foam adhesive for that the dimensional look.
So there you have it. Mini albums are not just to make tiny books but also if you combine a few, they make for a pretty cool banner!
Till next time,
Grace
