Today, I will share with you this project I made using spray paint and masks. A mask is the opposite of a stencil. It's made from a flexible, reusable material with a repositionable adhesive on the back so the image will stay in place as you apply paint or medium over the top.
Heidi Swapp mask is my favorite to use but not limited to of course.
My project is a Canvas Wall Hanging. I spray painted the canvas with yellow, green and a touch of white. I used Clear Scraps XL word title. I wanted to give my project a whimsical feel to it.
Altering the XL-Clear Scraps Word.
Position the mask on top of the clear word, then spray until all the clear area is covered with paint. Let it dry for few minutes, then pull off the mask to reveal the shaped clear area.
You can also use scraps from your stash as a mask, such shaped chipboards.
and so many more ideas, I'm sure!
So now I have 2 pages that are ready to be embellished.
