"Life is a Garden" Top Load album

I have one more leftover Imaginisce project to share with you today....using one of our brand new 12x12 acrylic Top-Load albums that are Now Shipping!!  For my project I chose the Scallop Top-Load album and to emphasize the scallopped edge, I punched a whole bunch of circles out of the Imaginisce patterned paper and fussy cut a small fruit/garden character to go on each circle.  My vision for this album is that it will be a book of memories we'll make this summer.  I kept the front very simple with a sheet of paper behind it and some flowers, some jewels (adhered with the fabulous iRock) and a matted die cut title.  Life is a Garden CS album

One tip:  the top of these albums have hinges on them so it was almost impossible to put a circle of patterned paper there.  I tried using my X-acto knife to trim it precisely but we all know what a lot of work that is.  In the end, my trick was to put the patterened paper circles on the underside of the front cover, facing up.  That is, after all....the beauty of acrylic - that you can see through it.   Then all that had to happen was a quick slit with my X-acto knife on the paper where the hinge actually opened and Ta-da....a complete border of punched circles.
