Not all cards need to be folded♥

Good morning...Pinky here from beautiful TN!

I always struggle with card making especially when it comes to acrylic, suddenly I realized not all cards have to be folded! I can make a perfectly lovely card without folding it at all!

CelebrateCard1

This card is 2 sided with plenty of room on the back for writing and a lovely face too.

CelebrateCard2

I used a 12X12 sheet of Clear Scraps acrylic  that I received in my February "Love in Paris" kit from Tally Scrapper, I trimmed it down to 5X5 and the used the papers included in the amazing kit to finish off the card.

CelebrateCard3

It was such a fun card to make, I think I will be making many more!

Inspirational words mini

Hello. Today I want to share with you what I did with the new released Butterfly mini album.

Inspirational words

I was inspired to go with the said theme because I had a set of sticker that had great words of wisdom that I wanted to be a constant reminder for me.

Inspirational words (1)

If you don't know by now, Clear Scraps acrylic CAN be run through your embossing machine. Don't mistake this for the newer Cast acrylic though. Those ones are very thick and will not go through embossing machines.  Anyways, I ran the butterfly pieces through my Cuttlebug machine with the Swiss dot folder. Then painted it light yellow and then inked the edges and the top of the embossed buttefly with brown ink. This way, the edges and the dots get some distinction against the yellow background.

Inspirational words (2)

So with the inside of the book, I used some paper strips from Cosmo Cricket and then adhered my inspirational stickers.

Inspirational words (3)

Inspirational words (4)

Inspirational words (5)

Inspirational words (6)
I added a gold ribbon to the key ring to add some glitter to the book.

So that's it. I hope I was able to inspire you with my project today. Make sure you check the buttefly mini album and all the other new releases here.

Till next time,

Grace

Family Together Altered Project (1)(resize)

Hello everyone! It's me, Irene. Today, I would like to share with you all this "Family Together Sign" which I've created using the NEW "Expressions Clear Word Titles" and the an acrylic bookstand by Clear Scraps.

I've used the gorgeous papers by Pink Paislee and Hambly's Overlay to create this sign. Below are some of the close-ups.

I've embellished it with tons of flowers, crystal dragonfly and pearl centers by Accent Creative Designs. I've also used some Viva Decor pearl pens to add more details to it.

These new acrylic expressions are such fun! Check out this project of mine at Clear Scraps booth # 1478 this coming Winter CHA!

Not your ordinary mouse...

The release of this new Mouse Album couldn't have been more perfectly timed for me. We had just been to Disneyland over Halloween ( a must time to go if you are ever considering it) and when Pink Paislee was kind enough to sponsor the team I was sent their Halloween line Hocus Pocus. The three of us were meant for each other!

For the cover of the album I painted the entire thing with Modge Podge and then covered it with glitter before it dried. Then I used Super Seal to keep the glitter in place (yes, that stuff works like a charm if you haven't tried it!)

Banner time!!!

Csbflybanner4
If you were to look back at my gallery since I have been on this design team, there is on thing that you would for sure notice...I LOVE doing banners! This one was no exception! I adore this new Butterfly Banner.

For this beauty I used Basic Grey's line called Curio. The vintage look of these papers made decorating this so easy! Make sure to take a look at the close up photos as taking photos of these banners in their entirety is a bit challenging. Remember to just click on a picture to bring it up larger.

More new Sneaks!

Today I have 2 new items to show you!

I really hope they will do right on the photos. It's not that great weather over here in the Netherlands, so my pictures aren't really showing how great these products are!

First I have a new 12 inch album to show you! I used ink on it and decorated it with Basic Grey papers.

And do you see that new acrylic expression on it?? It's just perfect for this 12 inch album!!

The second new sneak is a new acrylic album. The Wave album.

I only have a picture of the cover, but you can see the shape it has. Also great for your upcoming holiday photos!!

P1078543

Do you spot that birdcage?? I just punched it out of a 12 inch acrylic sheet!!

So you can imagine all the things you can punch with your diecutting machine!!

Have fun creating,

Decorate your house!

Hi all!

It's Hilde again with two Cast Acrylic Frames to show you. I scrapped them in two different styles.

A vintage frame and a more modern frame. I so love these frames. To giveaway as a gift for my mother, with pictures of the girls. I know that these will be gorgeous to use as a gift!

First I'm showing you the vintage style frame.

I used Basic Grey papers which were given to the DT. Thank you so much Basic Grey!

PC018345

PC018346

PC018348

I added some crackle paint around the edges. It comes of a bit, but I think it looks more vintage this way...lol.

The second frame is with Cosmo Cricket papers.

Here I also created some selfmade flowers.

I used the Big Shot machine to punch some flowers out of a 12 inch acrylic sheet. And then I embossed them and ink them.

Hope you are inspired to create some home decors for yourself soon!

Have a great day!

More Incredible Work From Our Guest Designer!

Good morning! Can you believe we are halfway past January already?

Let's get inspired again by Clear Scraps January Guest Designer Virginia Wong

Virginia turned the Clear Scraps Acrylic Large Banner into a mini album and she rocked it!
Cs-joy-c

As you can see there are so many ways to use a Clear Scraps Acrylic Banner besides making the banner.

Cs-joy-1

Virginia paid attention to every detail making it a beautiful album who will be loved and cherished.

Cs-joy-3

All the trims and colors make it pop!

Cs-joy-2

The journaling strips are a wonderful foundation for any mini album.

Cs-joy-4

The stars added such depth and dimension.

Cs-joy-5

The circle photos being offset really adds something special, a designer touch.

Cs-joy-6

Tiny alphas were a perfectly lovely addition.

Cs-joy-7

Well, Virginia you did it again girl, this album rocks! Thanks for your amazing hard work.

Stay tuned for one more project from Virginia in January and be sure to check out her blog and let her know how much you love her work!  http://virginiawongmichiels.blogspot.com/

Just love Cast Acrylic!

A new product by Clear Scraps!! The new cast acrylic items are just amazing. I used this frame set as a mini album.

Since this cast acrylic is heavier then normal acrylic you can easily use it for a home decor frame.

P1048503

You can use ink on this type of acrylic. No problem, it stays on perfect!

P1048504

P1048505

P1048507

P1048510

You can also stamp on cast acrylic. I used Stazon ink to do so. The papers are by Basic Grey.

As you can see in the store there are different cast acrylic items for sale. You should really try them. I know you will love it!

Best wishes,

Hilde
