Good morning, I hope you all are feeling extra creative today.
I came up with this idea yesterday because a few people in my life are having some difficulties now and I was making them cards, but I got to thinking..."What could I do more than just a card but to let them know I care every single day?" I came up with these Pure Magnetism Cards.
Not a traditional card but a card that they can hang on their fridge or door to remind them every day that someone cares about then and took the time to give them a word of encouragement.
You could make these in any shape or size with the variety of Clearscraps Acrylics
You can make them 2 ways, either with magnets attached to the back like this one...
See the little magnets on each side? These are just Basic Grey magnets I picked up at the store.
I did use a heavy duty adhesive to adhere them.
I used Clearscraps Acrylic, American Crafts paper, and Jenn Bowlin Crepe paper ribbon, and the always amazing Hambly, which I used some Helmar V2 spray to attach and it is completely invisible!! WOOT!
This is the front:
This is the second idea to make it with a hanging ribbon like this one, I actually ended up using my itop and making a matching magnet for this one so it would hang neatly on the fridge.
This is the front:
This is the back: On this one I used Clearscraps Acrylic, Jenni Bowlin Paper, Prima flowers and flourishes, my Cri-Kit Pens to write the words with my Cricut,Helmar 450 Quick Dry Glue, Bazzill Cardstock, and Clearsnaps Smooch Ink. It really only took 15 minutes or so.
I recommend a 4X6 or 5X7 size, big enough to notice but small enough to mail in a card envelope.
Now who's day wouldn't be brightened up with one of these?
I thought this would be a great reminder that I care every single day because who doesn't visit the kitchen or fridge at least 5 times a day??
The Clearscraps Acrylic is a GREAT way to make them because it is not just paper, they are definitely heavy duty and will stand up to the wear and tear of the family.
So go make some Pure Magnetism Cards! I want to see what you do with them.
Have a great day and please do share if you decide to make them.

That is such an innovative idea! I love it! I think maybe I'll do something like that for my best friend, who lives in New Hampshire (I live in Texas).
