How about a week long tutorial?

Acrylic Card

Hi everyone. Grace here. I don't know about all of you, but I think Acrylic shapes have so many possibilities. They are sturdy, come in so many different shapes and sizes and can be used in layouts and altered items as foundation. But did you know that you can also use them as a card?

Well, I have a quick card to share today that will hopefully give you more ideas on how to "play" with Clear Scraps acrylic pieces.

Thank You card

Thank you card

this card was made using two pieces of the Acrylic coasters.

Thank you card (1)

I also used some products from our preferred product list- My Little Shoe Box paper and Magic Mesh.

Thank you card (2)

To bind the acrylic pieces together, I measured the width of both cards and added 1/8" so that the card will fold ok. I then adhered the pattern paper piece on the one side of the card. This will be the front and back side. Then I adhered another piece of paper on the inside of the card, making sure it lines up with my other pattern paper so that you won't see the adhesive. Fold and trim (if needed). Finally I added my embellishments and card sentiment.

Thank you card (3)

So there you have it. In just a matter of minutes, you have transformed some acrylic coasters into a one-of-a-kind card.

Hope you were inspired.

Till next time,

Grace

That's a great way to make a card with the CS shapes!
