Another Sneak for you!!!

I'm wrapping up a few last minute things before I head off to CHA. I have some brand new Clear Scraps product for you to see. This is our brand new Baby banner. It was so much fun to create and sort of makes me want a little one again.  I'd love to use this in a nursery for wall decor. This banner consists of the central bear shape, two rattle shapes, and four heart shapes.

For this one I pulled out my Spellbinder's dies to cut heart shapes out of the middle of all of my paper pieces. This turned out to be a great way to highlight the fact that these are clear acrylic shapes as the base. For the silver glitter parts I simply covered the acrylic with Modge Podge and the covered the area with glitter. Once that dried I sealed the glitter with a product called Super Seal, it is fantastic for keeping glitter where you want it...trust me it stays put!

Another CHA SNEAK!

Is everyone getting excited for all the NEW PRODUCTS coming from CHA Winter?  I know I am!

Now I LOVE a LOT of different companies and I can't WAIT to see their SNEAKS each time CHA rolls around but I have to say one of my ALL TIME FAV new products is right here at Clear Scraps!  I mean ALL TIME...  And when I got this in the mail, at first I wasn't sure what it was...  I thought it could be several different things... AND IT CAN!

But I turned it into this:

Lauralondon1
A Suitcase! I LOVE to travel and we took a pretty awesome trip this past summer but this could be so many different things...

To get the black edging I simply masked off the edges and used StazOn in black all around the edges of the front and back covers.

Lauralondon2

I made this "suitcase" about our trip to Europe this last summer for our 20th Wedding Anniversary!  This was a BLAST to make and really turned out to be one of my ALL TIME FAV albums from Clear Scraps!

Lauralondon3
I wanted this suitcase to have a passport coming out of it, so I took at Clear Scraps 12x12 sheet and cut it down to the size of these album pages.  I LOVE how it looks with that hanging out of the suitcase!

Lauralondon4
Here you can see the passport page.  I cut a slit down the acrylic, slid the Jolee's Passport into the slit, attached it on each side with Zip Dry and then added some embellishments over it to give the page stability.

Lauralondon5
Here's the backside of that page.

Lauralondon6
Take a look at that room I'm sitting it!!  Do you see the vintage posters of Marilyn Monroe and  Audrey Hepburn and all the lovely black & white?  Oh my STARS, this was a GORGEOUS lounge next to the mens lounge/bar at our hotel and I WISH I had time to sit in there but all I got were these photos!  This London hotel was so GREAT though that if you every have a chance to visit London, make sure you check out the Milestone Hotel!  I think you can even just go to that hotel and have a drink or lite lunch in that room!

Lauralondon7
Hope you enjoyed this BRAND NEW Mini Album from Clear Scraps!

Make sure to come by our booth at CHA and check out ALL the new products!  We are booth # 1573, so come by and say Hi!

Another Sneak Peek for you!

Hi all, it's Hilde from the Netherlands again for you. I'm going to show you a new Clear Scraps album. Don't you just love new stuff?

I had the privilige to work with the new Purse Album. Isn't it cute? I love the shape it has. I wanted to use it for pictures of my girls. Which go perfect with such a cute girly purse album.

The Clear Scraps DT members were sponsored by some manufacturers. My little Shoebox gave us some gorgeous papers, chipboard alfabeth letters, stickers and overlays. Thank you MLS for sponsoring us!

I also used the ribbons that were sponsored by Creative Impressions and the flowers that were sponsored by Accent Creative Designs. I want to thank them as well! Loved working with these items.

Thank you all for looking!!

Create Frost with Ice Stickles on your Acrylic

Snow Melt Together Mini Album (resize)
Is your place snowing now? Did you capture some gorgeous pictures at this moment? If yes, why not try creating one of this cute and frosted acrylic snowman mini album yourself. Here are some close-ups to explain more about this technique.

DSC_0007

This technique is really simple. Just apply some Ice Stickles on the top edge of everything and you will get your instant frost. For a more dramatic frost, simply apply a thicker layer of Ice Stickles. Isn't it easy? Try it and have some frosting fun! For more close-ups on this mini album, you can check it out here . Have a blasting 2010 everyone!
