Another CHA SNEAK!
January 19, 2010
Is everyone getting excited for all the NEW PRODUCTS coming from CHA Winter? I know I am!
Now I LOVE a LOT of different companies and I can't WAIT to see their SNEAKS each time CHA rolls around but I have to say one of my ALL TIME FAV new products is right here at Clear Scraps! I mean ALL TIME... And when I got this in the mail, at first I wasn't sure what it was... I thought it could be several different things... AND IT CAN!
But I turned it into this:
A Suitcase! I LOVE to travel and we took a pretty awesome trip this past summer but this could be so many different things...
To get the black edging I simply masked off the edges and used StazOn in black all around the edges of the front and back covers.
I made this "suitcase" about our trip to Europe this last summer for our 20th Wedding Anniversary! This was a BLAST to make and really turned out to be one of my ALL TIME FAV albums from Clear Scraps!
I wanted this suitcase to have a passport coming out of it, so I took at Clear Scraps 12x12 sheet and cut it down to the size of these album pages. I LOVE how it looks with that hanging out of the suitcase!
Here you can see the passport page. I cut a slit down the acrylic, slid the Jolee's Passport into the slit, attached it on each side with Zip Dry and then added some embellishments over it to give the page stability.
Here's the backside of that page.
Take a look at that room I'm sitting it!! Do you see the vintage posters of Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn and all the lovely black & white? Oh my STARS, this was a GORGEOUS lounge next to the mens lounge/bar at our hotel and I WISH I had time to sit in there but all I got were these photos! This London hotel was so GREAT though that if you every have a chance to visit London, make sure you check out the Milestone Hotel! I think you can even just go to that hotel and have a drink or lite lunch in that room!
Hope you enjoyed this BRAND NEW Mini Album from Clear Scraps!
Make sure to come by our booth at CHA and check out ALL the new products! We are booth # 1573, so come by and say Hi!
Have a GREAT day,
Laura McCollough

Just did a similar project hosted by Clear Scraps at Capture in Fort Collins Colorado. Absolutely LOVE this project. Sue and her family were great and I believe everyone who attended had a great time, loved the project and are now hooked on acrylic! Thanks Clear Scraps and Capture!
