Christmas Mixables album
November 11, 2009
T'is the season to start thinking about those Christmas gifts, cards and scrapbook albums you're going to make this year! And Clear Scraps would love to help you out with this amazing Christmas Mixables Album.
It's a combination Acrylic & Chipboard album (alternating pages) that stands 6" wide and nearly 12" tall....big enough to fit tons of photos in to record all your Holiday festivities or to send to Grandma & Grandpa with all those adorable Grandchildren pictures in.
Tara Powell has done one up for us here at Clear Scraps - we think she's done an amazing job and we wanted to share her talent with you. Thank you so much Tara for Guest Designing for us and inspiring us all with this gorgeous album.
Materials used:
I used Glossy Accents as a base and then applied Pink Paislee Pixee Stix glitter in Cream Soda to outline the edges and also on the words "noel"
The word "bright" is spelled out in the Expressions letters and a piece of the lace is adhered underneath my photo.
Page 3 is covered in Postcards and the word "merry" is spelled out in the Expressions letters
Page 4's edges are inked with Espresso alcohol ink. I wanted a more dramatic color so I inked both the front and back side. I outlined the cut out ornaments with Glossy Accents and followed with a thick coating of the Chocolate Pixee Stix glitter. Once dry I adhered my photos and layered the Christmas tree press ons over the sides of them. Rub your North Pole post mark press on in the corner, spell out "joy" with the letters and that page is complete.
Page 6 is covered with Santa's Workshop Postcards paper. All elements are
cut out of the Postcards paper and apply the "Airmail" press on to
bottom of the red journaling spot. Spell out "wish" with the Expressions
letters.
