While my children are WAY past the baby stages, it doesn't seem that long ago that they were walking around on short stubby legs while sporting a pacifer in their mouth. Perhaps you have a little one like this or you've seen these adorable little tykes around you and wondered... how much longer will they "NEED" that pacifer. Everyone is different and some try to find solutions on how to wean baby off the pacifer. After all, when those teeth start coming in...an orthodontist is just a phone call away! So, when my kids were little, I developed this idea of having the pacifer tucked under the childs pillow so that the "BINKY FAIRY" could come at night and exchange the pacifer for a gift. (similiar to the tooth fairy concept). I didn't have Clear Scraps to help me embellish an adorable little clear box back in those days but I still love this idea so much that I had to share it with you. *ehem, and I plan to use the photograph of the 'binky fairy box' as the starting point of a layout, how cool, eh?*
So here is the box:
I took one of the buckle frames and stamped a linen textured stamp using stazon ink. I punched holes in the ends to thread the ribbon and added the embellished paper strip and chipboard letters. Quick and easy and such an adorable box to have as a keepsake reminder of a phase in your childs life.
