Well hey again friends, it's just me, Pinky today with another fun project from the Creating Made Easy March Kit. I just adore this kit and wanted to share how to make a fun gift card/money/cash holder using the Clear Scraps Shakers.
Here is how I created this project:
Taking the two bottom outline chipboard pieces, cut a hole large enough to slide in quarters or coins and dollars. Make sure they are in the same spot. Take the top chipboard outline and paint using paint from your stash. I used a chalk paint I had that was in a grayish spring blue.
Using your Beacon adhesive, adhere patterned paper to base of the Shaker. Adhere stickers or embellishments inside, keeping them to a minimum to hold money. Adhere 2 chipboard outlines with the hole in the top (also could be on the side).
Remove protective film from the acrylic piece for the shaker, adhere to the top of the two outline chipboard pieces. Remove top protective film. Adhere painted top chipboard outline to the top of shaker.
Slide in coins or dollars etc.
Happy St. Patty's Day friends, I hope you enjoyed this project as much as I did!
