Today I am showcasing the XL Love. You will love it!!! I love it!! perfect for a door sign, desk sign. 

I decorated it with the pattern paper that comes with the kit. 

I wanted to give it a nice elegant chic look, I added some flowers from my stash.

I also added some gold and black pearls.

Valentine's Day Album by Steph

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here to share some of the fun products that are found in the Clear Scraps  February kit.  This kit includes a Wood Heart Shaker Album, XL LOVE acrylic word, Love Sequins and Photoplay pattern papers.

 

 

This natural wood album is perfect as is, but since Valentine's Day is coming soon, I decided to paint it with Plaid Dye.

I sandwiched the acrylic panel between the die cut wood panels and placed the sequins in each heart.  Then I glued the next panel in place.  Those sequins have lots of room to float freely about the hearts.  Sticker strips were cut to fit the top panel. 

I cut papers to fit each panel, punching the holes before adhering the papers to the panels. 

 

To complete the album, I tied the panels together with twine.  Then I decorated each page.

Stickers and photo mats were matted with cardstock then added to the pages. 

Pocket pages were created on two of the panels and a sticker banner added across the top.

The opposite side of the panels gives you more room for photos if needed.

Bookmark tutorial by Ruthie

Hello Crafty Friends!! Ruthie here!!

Do you want to see how I made this bookmark? get a cup of coffee and keep scrolling down.

You will need pattern paper (6" x 6"), the Lovely Sequins, Bacon 3-1, Fuse tool, pockets, stickers or cut outs, Big shot, oval dies, score table and an old mat. 

I cut the pattern paper 6" x 6" and folded in half with the help of the scoring table.

Then, I die cut the oval, where you want to clear pocket. 

I decided to die cut the bottom. 

I used the fuse tool to close the clear pocket. 

 

Put the Lovely Sequins inside and use the fuse tool to make an oval using the cut out as a reference. 

Decorate it as you like. Here is mine. 

Those sequins look beautiful!!

Love Wreath by Steph

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here to share how I used the XL LOVE acrylic word that was included  in the Clear Scraps  February kit.  

I wanted to create a funky wreath so I wrapped a grapevine wreath with tulle, then tied scraps of red dotted ribbon around the wreath.

 I removed the film from the front side of the acrylic word then spritzed it with assorted colors of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists.  Since you can't heat set acrylic, I let each color dry before adding the next color.

 Once the word dried completely, I used molding paste through the Fern Leaf Stencil and the Swirl Pumpkin Stencil to add the designs to the word. 

Once dry, I spritzed over the word again with Sunflower Glimmer Mist to add color to the molding paste.

 

After removing the film from the back side of the word, I tied it to the wreath.

Be the girl layout

Hi, friends I'm back with my last project using the gorgeous papers from Photoplay and sequins from Clear Scraps in the February kit.

I absolutely LOVE paper heavy kits because it gives you free reign to layer til your heart's content and that is just what I did!

The sequins add the perfect sparkle and shine.

LOVE photo hanger

My second project using the brilliant February kit features the large clear expressions, Love acrylic title that I turned into a cute little home decor item to display random photographs through-out the year.

I start off by removing the film from the front of the acrylic and painted it using paint from my craft arsenal.

I then used a groovy heart stencil from my stash to paint decorative hearts across the front.

Before the paint dries, I add in the Sequins from the kit to the hearts.

Once everything has dried, remove the protective film from the backside, and then adhere stickers to the acrylic title.

I stapled jute from my stash for a hanger on the top and bottom of the word title so I could hang it, and also display small photographs.
This was so much fun to make and didn't take long at all.

The February kit is one you don't want to miss!

Wood Heart Shaker album by Ruthie

Hello Crafty Friends, Ruthie here!!

Today I am showcasing the Wood Heart Shaker album that comes with the February Main Kit 2018!! yes!! totally lovely and beautiful!!!

To decorate the Wood Heart Shaker album I used the pattern paper that also comes with the kit, called Vintage Girl collection from Photoplay. 

I hand cut some cards from the intage Girl collection from Photoplay to decorate the inside of the mini album. I decided to put those mini clothespins to be able to change pictures anytime.  

 I put the dark pattern paper as base so the picture can be shown.

 I added some Prima flowers from my stash and tied the mini album with pink twine. 

 I added a heart to the clothespin to give a little touch. 

 I also used the Love sequins to the shakers, which you will be receiving with the kit.

LOVE 2 Page Layout by Pinky

Hey there Creating Made Easy friends, It is Pinky today and I created something I haven't done in quite some time! A 2 page layout! I saw the Clear Scraps LOVE Expression in the Creating Made Easy February 2018 Kit and decided to cut it and create this layout. 

I love using the acrylic, it makes a fantastic large title.

To keep it shiny looking, I removed the protective film from the back and painted it, allowed it to dry, then removed the film from the front and use pop dots to adhere it to the layout. It was easily cut with my regular scissors. 

I added the stickers from the kit, and punched butterflies from scraps of the patterned paper in the February Kit. Loving the soft subtle colors, that can be used for more then just Valentines Day!

Girly Cards by Steph

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here to share some of the fun products that are found in the Clear Scraps  February kit.  This kit includes a wood album, acrylic word Love, sequins and an awesome paper collection and sticker sheet from Photoplay.  I felt these papers were perfect for girly cards and the sequins were the perfect embellishment.

 

 

The Photoplay papers are lovely for feminine cards.  My first card uses the black and white paper as the card base.  This paper was perfect as I wanted to add just a touch of color which I accomplished by adding sequins around the dress sticker and the sticker phrase which I added to the corner.  Easy and elegant!

 

My next card is a shaker card which is a perfect way to showcase all those sequins.

I used the damask paper for the card and die cut an opening in the center.  I placed one of the tags behind the opening. 

I die cut a scalloped circle to use as a decorative element to finish off the card.  Then I placed  sequins in the center.

The topper was adhered to the card to hold the sequins in place.

Inside the card I added rose pattern paper for an elegant look then added a sticker to the card.
