Photo Shaker Magnet by Pinky

Hey there again Creating Made Easy friends, I have one last project for the month of December and it is this Photo Shaker Magnet that I made for my friend using her children's photos. 

It's PINKY today with a fun idea for these Shakers and the December 2017 Kit. 

Cards, Ornaments, Shakers, and so many more ideas, I thought it would be fun to make a snowy Shaker Magnet with this month's December Kit. For this Shaker Magnet I used two snowy photos on the base chipboard piece and patterned paper in the top areas, then added white glitter for a snowy effect.

For the cover chipboard I glittered it up! And it was so easy to adhere a magnet to the back.

This would make a wonderful children project as well!

Christmas Tri-Fold by Steph

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here to share some of the fun products that are found in the Clear Scraps December kit.  This kit includes Clear Scraps Scallop Tri-fold, Window Shaker and Holiday Chip word as well Echo Park's Wisemen Seek Him collection.

I used the Tri-fold acrylic frame to create a decorative home décor piece.

 

I wanted to add a hint of color so I used my fingers to add gold paint around the edges of each panel.  

For the front of my tri-fold, I die cut 4 layers from the pattern papers.  Oh Holy Night is from the sticker sheet.  I matted it with pattern paper then added it above the die cuts.

Using Spellbinders dies, I die cut assorted layers for the center of each panel.  

For each panel,  I cut apart a banner sticker, placing it near the top of each panel.

Then I used ribbon to tie the panels together.

The possibilities are endless when creating with a Tri-Fold acrylic album.

Tutorial + Shaker Card

Hello!! Ruthie here!! And, here we are, showcasing my last project of the year!!

Our December Main Kit 2017 comes with a Scallop Tri-fold, a Window shaker and a Holiday Chip word, Clear Scrap products, also comes with the Echo Park Wisemen Seek Him collection and 12x12 sticker sheets.

For this project I used the mini window shaker.

We will need the following: the mini window shaker, pink and white acrylic paint, Christmas decoration and 3-1 Beacon glue. 

 

 First we, will use the white paint and paint the back part of the shaker.  Then we will paint the rest of the shaker with the pink paint. 

We decorate the back part of the mini window shaker. 

Make sure to take the clear plastic that protects the acrylic window of the shaker. 

Then, we will glue the shaker together with the 3-1 Beacon glue.

I added some shiny stars and glitter. 

Here is the final look.

Holiday Ornament by Steph

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here to share some of the fun products that are found in the Clear Scraps December kit.  This kit includes Clear Scraps Scallop Tri-fold, Window Shaker and Holiday Chip word as well Echo Park's Wisemen Seek Him collection.

I've used the Window Shaker with the paper collection to create a unique ornament.

After I painted the Window Shaker with gold paint, I reassembled the shaker, placing assorted colors and shapes of Dew Drops in each window before adhering the acrylic panel and top layer.

I added assorted stickers to the outside of the shaker.  Adhering the leaf sticker on cardstock, I placed it on the top of the shaker to hold the ribbon hanger in place.

Mini Album by Ruthie

Hello crafty friends!! Ruthie here!! Are you ready for the Holidays? I am, so ready!!!

Today I am showcasing the Scallop Tri-fold that comes in the December Main Kit 2017, it can be used as a Mini Album or as a frame as a decorative piece. I decided to use it as a Mini Album. 

I used the pattern paper that comes with the December Main Kit 2017, Echo Park Wisemen Seek Him collection and some of the 12x12 sticker sheets.

Here is how it looks. I love this pattern paper.

I left the spaces to add the pictures for this Christmas. 

I decorated both sides.

Holiday Tri-Fold Frame by Pinky

Hey there, happy holidays CME friends, it is Pinky today with another fun December 2017 Kit project!

For this Tri-Fold Frame (which is a nice thick cast acrylic similar to glass) I used the December kit and a gold leaf pen from my crafting stash. I edged the frame with the gold leaf and used some holiday photos I had on hand. 

On the tree photo I used some glitter to make it all "snowy". 

I did use a burlap sheet I had in my stash for the matting on the tree photo, and the stickers are so fun and easy to work with, this December kit is just packed. 

 

And some wired ribbon fro my stash to bind it. It stands on it's own which is super creative and easy to work with. Included in the kit:
Clear Scraps- 
Scallop Tri-fold
Window shaker
Holiday Chip word

12x12 sticker sheets

Such a wonderful kit filled with spirit, you are going to love this one!

Merry Christmas Card by Steph

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here to share some of the fun products that are found in the Clear Scraps December kit.  This kit includes Clear Scraps Scallop Tri-fold, Window Shaker and Holiday Chip word as well Echo Park's Wisemen Seek Him collection.

Today I've use the Holiday Chip word with the paper collection to create a card and coordinating envelope.  The chip word is 2" x 4" and is perfectly sized to make a statement on all your projects.  I've used it as the focal point of my card.

Cutting cardstock to 6" x 12", I scored it to create a 6" x 6" square card.  Then I cut pattern paper and inked each layer before matting them with cardstock.  I also matted several stickers with cardstock.

 

I adhered the 3 panels together, then wrapped them with ribbon before adhering them to the card.

I painted the chip word with gold paint.  After it dried, I adhered it to the card, adding the stickers to the card with foam adhesives.

Using another sheet of pattern paper, I created the coordinating envelope.

I cut assorted papers to fit the envelope creating a panel which I wrapped with ribbon before adhering to the envelope.  A sticker was matted with cardstock, fussy cut and added to the envelope with foam adhesives.

Christmas Cards

Did I mention this kit is packed? There are so many projects and cards you can create with it.

I'm back today to share four cards perfect for the Holidays. 

 

First up is my Holidays card. The title is a Clear Scraps chipboard title we get in the kit. I painted it with Piccolo enamel paint and let it dry.

While the chipboard title was drying I used my Silhouette to cut out this cute card. It is removable so you can write a message on the inside.

It was easy to create these cards, just layering paper and stickers and a little bit of ribbon from my stash.

The ribbon here helps keep the card closed.

Between the journaling cards, stickers, and paper you have the ability to create some gorgeous cards.

Hello!! Ruthie here!! And, here we are, showcasing the last kit of the year!! can you believe it!! Is December already!!

Our December Main Kit 2017 comes with a Scallop Tri-fold, a Window shaker and a Holiday Chip word, Clear Scraps products, also comes with the Echo Park Wisemen Seek Him collection and 12x12 sticker sheets.

Today, I am showcasing the  Holiday Chip word. I made a Project Life sheet, using the  Holiday Chip word as title of the page.

I put gold paint over it and let it dry. This how it looks. 

I used some hand cut cards that are part of the Echo Park Wisemen Seek Him collection. 

I added some pictures decorating our Christmas tree.

Window Ornament Shaker

Hi friends! Leah here again today to share how I turned the Window Shaker from the awesome December kit into an ornament.

I used Zip Dry adhesive to adhere the base onto this paper from the kit. Once dried, cut around it with your craft knife.

I painted the top frame using these inks from my stash.

I used Tim Holtz tiny attacher to add this ribbon hanger to the base.

 

When you go to start adding your layers, you will have to hold the area where the ribbon is until it dries completely. A small clamp would come in handy for this as well.

Here's the fun part of adding sequins or microbeads before you add your acrylic layer to seal them up.

I daubed metallic alcohol ink around the edges of the acrylic and on top of the chipboard frame.

Now I have a cute little ornament or a sweet tag for a gift.
