Hey, CME friends. Leah here today, I'm up with my last project this month using the Creating Made Easy October 2017 kit.
This little brag bag is perfect for decorating to store all your Autumn or Halloween memories in this year.
I start by peeling the protective film off the front side of the first and last page in the album, then add alcohol ink to the acrylic from my stash.
I then remove the film from the inside pages of the album and adhere them to four pattern papers from the Authentique paper pad. As you can see, the edges aren't covered completely, and that is perfectly fine.
I trim all the excess paper away using my craft knife, and assemble the pages in the order I like. I have to do this with albums this way, or I get confused when turning the page and end up gluing something upside down later on.
This is so cute. Next up, the cover.
I adhered this large Trick or Treat sticker to a piece of paper from the kit, then trimmed around it with my scissors. I then flip that little scrap piece of paper over and adhere the sticker to that to create another layer.
I am a huge fan of adhering stickers to double-sided pattern paper when working with acrylic, or when the sticker will hang off the edge.
One final touch, did you know you could color your book rings using alcohol ink?
Here are the finished pages just ready for photos.
I hope you picked up some tricks you'll use in your next Clear Scraps project!
This is such an adorable brag bag !! Thanks for sharing.
