Hi everyone, Tammy here with you today with a fun Butterfly Mini Album tutorial. I have enjoyed working with the August kit from Clear Scraps Creating Made Easy Kit Club. The butterfly theme was so fun to create projects with. In addition to this album, I will be sharing greeting card tutorial and also an 8x8 scrapbook layout tutorial later in the month, so stay tuned! But first I would like to share with you how I created this beautiful album...
Supplies:
Mini Album
Papers and stickers from the kit
Other supplies:
Butterfly die
Die cut machine
Glue Dots Adhesive
Denim decorative tape
Rhinestones
Tension rings
Directions:
Use diecut machine and a steel butterfly die to create cutouts on the first page of the album. You will use one butterfly for this project and save one butterfly cutout for another project.
On the first page of the album I added paper and stickers from the kit and rhinestones and denim decorative tape from my stash.
On page 3 of the album I added paper and stickers from the August kit
On page 4 of the album I added stickers and paper photo mats I cut from papers from the August kit. I also added twine and denim tape from my stash.
On the backside of that page (page 5) I added paper and a sentiment sticker from the August kit. I also added denim decorative tape from my stash.
On page 6 of the album I added stickers and papers from the August kit and left room to add photos later. I also added more denim tape from my stash.
On the same page a also added the acrylic butterfly cutout from the first page of the album. I ran the butterfly through an embossing folder to add the design to the butterfly. I attached the butterfly with a square stitch Glue Dot.
On page 7 I used paper from the kit and some denim tape from my stash and left plenty of room for a photo to be added.
On page 8 (the inside of the back page of the album) I ran the page through my diecut machine with a stripe embossing folder to add some texture.
Then I added some stickers and papers from the kit.
On the back page of the album I added papers and stickers from the kit. Finally, I added tension rings to hold the album together.
I really love how this album turned out, and I know my friend is going to love adding photos to it. I hope this tutorial has given you some ideas on how to decorate your album from the August kit from Clear Scraps Creating Made Easy Kit Club.
