Summertime Altered Phone Stand by Tammy Santana

Hi everyone! Tammy Santana here from the Creating Made Easy Kit Club Design Team with a quick phone stand tutorial today. I love all of the beautiful papers and stickers that come in the Creating Made Easy July Kit. The new phone stand from the kit is really fun to decorate and functional for your desk.

Kit Supplies:

Scallop phone stand

Papers and stickers

Other supplies:

Adhesive

Plastic gems

Paper flower

Directions:

 

Use the phone stand as a template to cut out the paper.

I added stickers to the paper before adding it to the acrylic. I want to be able to change out my background decorations based on the season, so I used removable glue dots to adhere the paper to the acrylic. I will be able to remove the paper without any damage to the acrylic and attach a different background paper. If you want to permanently adhere the paper to the stand, I recommend using Zip Dry.

I used Zip Dry to permanently adhere some plastic gems on top of the phone ledge to keep my large phone stable on the stand. I also attached a paper flower from my stash for a cute embellishment.

This project was so easy to make with all of the beautiful papers and stickers included in the Creating Made Easy July kit. I hope this tutorial has given you some ideas on how to decorate your phone stand from the kit :)
