I love celebrating the 4th of July with family and friends. I decided to create this mini album with the Clear Scraps Creating Made Easy Kit Club to highlight a few of the recent memories from the last 4th of July holiday. The June kit comes with so many great embellishments and also the album, it was easy to create this awesome keepsake.
Kit supplies I used:
Lovely mini album
Stickers
Papers
6x6 firework splash
Other supplies I used:
Glass engraver
Adhesive
Ribbon
Tension rings
Directions:
On the front acrylic page of the album, I used the firework 6x6 as a template and my glass engraving tool to create an engraved firework texture in the acrylic. When the acrylic page is placed over the 2nd chipboard page of the album, it creates a nice overlay effect.
I decorated the 2nd chipboard page of the album with papers and stickers from the kit.
The 3rd page of the album is acrylic, so I used a star punch to create punched out stars in the acrylic. Then I traced the stars with alcohol ink markers to make them stand out. Again, this creates a great overlay effect when placed over the 4th decorated chipboard page of the album.
The 5th and last page of the album is acrylic so I decided to add some papers with Zip Dry adhesive and I also traced some stars on the bottom of the page, with alcohol ink markers, using the 6x6 firework splash as a template.
I really love how fun this album looks. I hope I have given you some ideas and techniques you can use to decorate your album from the Clear Scraps Creating Made Easy Kit Club June Kit.
