I love to make mini albums for my daughter to add her favorite photos to and give as gifts to friends. This sweet mixable album is included In the February Clear Scraps Creating Made Easy Kit Club and will be perfect for my daughter. I will keep a couple of the pages blank so she can add photos to it.
Kit supplies used:
3x5 mixable
6x6 Mascils Folk Flowers
Hot off the Press Butterfly book
Manuscript Brush marker sets
Other supplies used:
Glitter spray paint
Alcohol ink
Alcohol markers
Ribbon
Plastic flower embellishments
Decorative trims
How I decorated The 3x5 Mixable Album:
1. I added glitter spray paint to the back of the front page of the album and let it dry thoroughly. Then I used the 6x6 Mascils Folk Flowers stencil, and alcohol markers from my stash, to add a colorful flower to the back of the front page.
2. On the third page of the album I added hot pink alcohol ink from my stash to the back of the page. I cut out and glued an image from the adult coloring book included in the kit to the top. I also glued a couple plastic flower embellishments, from my stash, for added sparkle. I also glued some mini ball trim to the edge.
3. On the second and last page of the album I glued some scrapbook paper from my stash and glued trim from my stash to the edge for decoration. I left these pages blank of any images so my daughter can add her own.
I really love how this project turned out. These mini albums are perfect gifts for family and friends without spending too much time on a larger sized album. It will be perfect for display on a fireplace mantel or shelf as a piece of home decor during the Spring season.
