Hello everyone. It is Nicole back with another project to share with you from this months kit.
I love tags, and I love adding fun tags to gifts. So I wanted to create some fun tags with these clear tags. Who wouldn't want to get some fun tags like this on a gift they receive. I know I would.
To get started I took off the film covering on both sides of the tags.
I then dropped on some white craft paint using a flicking from a paint brush. I let those dry some before I moved on.
For the MOM tag, I tied on some lace ribbon I had on hand. I just tied it in a bow right around the top of the ribbon, and didn't even use any glue to hold it down. I then took some light blue chipboard alphabet stickers I had on hand and attached those to the bottom of the tag to spell out MOM. I then took one of the patterned papers and cut out the dark blue butterfly and attached that right over mom. I added some silver dots and blue rhinestones and that completed this tag. Super quick and easy.
For the next tag, I took the same lace ribbon and folded a piece over and attached it to the top of the tag using some glue dots. I then made a twine bow and attached that using glue dots right over the fold of the lace piece. I then attached a mirrored butterfly right to the middle of the tag. I used a rhinestone swirl I had on hand and cut it apart some to make it fit on the tag. I then cut a little piece of coordinating paper from the kit and notched it at the end. I wrote to and from on the tag and adhered it right on top of the mirrored butterfly. I then took one of the framed chipboard stickers, and ripped the yellow butterfly right off of it and placed that on the mirrored butterfly and tag as well. That then completed this butterfly tag.
These tags were so quick and easy to make, but will add so much to a gift. I am going to use both of them on Mother's Day gifts.
Thanks again for stopping by and I will see you soon with another project to share.
