Good morning Creating Made Easy fans! Leah here with you today to share my version of this super cool mini album by Clear Scraps. The album comes with 3 acrylic pages and 2 chipboard pages.
I started off by adhering pattern paper to both sides of the chipboard pages.
For the acrylic page 1, I cut out 2 pieces of paper 3" x 6 1/4" - adhered them to the front and backside.
For the acrylic page 3, I cut out 2 pieces of paper 3 3/4" x 6 1/2" - adhered them to the front and backside.
For the last acrylic page, I cut out 1 piece of paper to 5" x 6 1/2", adhered to the front side.
For the cover, I added the hexagon stickers and outlined 3 of them in black pen. Cut out some little hearts and pop dotted them, then added the Family title.
For this page, I simply added the photograph to a scrap paper and adhered a couple of stickers.
I used my electronic cutting machine to cut out some cute 3" x 4" decorative project life type journaling cards to add to the album, using the kit paper.
Not every album page has to have a photo.. this is just a cute HELLO page. I love it!
What I love about these mixed albums is the ability to see layers through the acrylic, it really adds to the depth and dimension.
Don't be afraid to let things over lap off your album page, especially if the papers you use are double sided.
For this page, I used various stickers and cutouts to add what makes me happy instead of just writing it out... although, writing it out is great too! :)
I only glued down three sides of my photograph creating an instant pocket to house some of the cute tags from the kit behind the photo. Add a couple of stickers, and voila.. complete!
I love this album, and just know you will love creating your own too!
