Hello there Creating Made Easy friends, it's Pinky today with a step by step card tutorial using the Creating Made Easy October Kit and the amazing Clear Scraps Send It Clear Card included in the kit.
If you follow along with me I will share just how I created this card.
Peeling back the protective film on the Clear Srcaps Lock Send It Clear Card- just enough to stamp the area you want to stamp.
Stamp spiderweb (stamp from my stash) onto lock area using paint dabber OR adhesive stamp pad.
Quickly (especially if using paint) dust with ulterfine glitter. The more fine the glitter the more it will stick to the paint.
Remove protective film from card backing.
Trim out the Graphic 45 card from patterned paper (they are almost a perfect fit!).
Using Beacon adhesive, apply trimmed card to front of acrylic card base.
Remove protective film from front card flaps.
Using paint dabber (from my stash)- stamp spiderwebs onto card flaps.
Using same paint dabber- dab around edges to bring out the shape.
Now here is a trick I use to get glitter onto tight spaces- I used a pearl pen.
It is very forgiving and puff up the glitter a bit!
Outline keyhole and lock areas using Pearl Pen (from my stash).
Shake off excess and allow 20 minutes to dry.
Carefully- (not touching with finger) fold back the adesive sticker strip to reveal half of the clear dot adhesive stickers.
Apply to card witout touching.
Fold card and allow to cure for a few hours or better yet overnight!
Now you have a wonderful Clear Scraps acrylic card that will be the envy of your friends!
Clear Scraps is such a wonderfully flexible and a great medium to try out all sorts of ideas. If you don't like it, just wash and start again!
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
Until next time- keep on crafing my friends!
