Good morning, Friends! I hope all your family festivities for the Fourth of July was filled with lots of memories and fun!! Leah here with you today to share two projects I made with the marvelous July kit!
For this USA Banner, I took the chipboard banner and covered the pieces with the lovely paper from this months kit. I also sanded the edges to create a pretty distressed look.
For the 3d Star and letters, I cut out files from my Silhouette Cameo and put them together using the pretty papers from the kit.
Once I had assembled all the letters and stars, I adhered them to the front of the banner pieces with Beacons 3-in-1 glue.
I then decorated the letters using stickers and embellishments found in the kit.
I have this hanging in my entry way into my dining room, and it is going to be a favorite for many years to come.

I also wanted to show you the gorgeous Family album included in the kit this month. I plan on adhering photos in there from our 4th of July from this year. :)
I started off my seperating the chipboard letters and the acrylic letters in two seperate groups. For the acrylic letters, I used Viva Decor Pearl pen in Silver and created dots of color all around the edge and put to the side to dry.
While the acrylic peices are drying (about an hour) I adhered the gorgeous paper to the chipboard letters. I then edged around the papers using a marker.
Once all my album pieces were dry, I used the rings and binded the album together, then started adhering stickers and chipboard from the kit for embellishments.
On the acrylic pages, try to keep placement the same on both sides with paper and embellishments to make it pleasing to the eye, and to hide glue and backsides of stickers.
For this page I only adhered the right side of this card to the album so I could slide part of a photo underneath of it, for a lovely layered look.
Once I print my photos out and adhere them in the album, I can then add more embellishments such as the flowers, buttons, and stickers.
