Hello my fantastic artsy friends!
I have two projects I am sharing with you today here on the blog. One is a mini album and the other is a layout. It's picture heavy, but worth it, I believe!
This kit came with a fantastic Clear & Mixed acrylic/chipboard pack. You basically create your own mini album, your own way. You choose the shapes, whether you want acrylic or chipboard, and the order they go in. Super fun and versatile!
For every chipboard shape I chose, I also selected the same shape in acrylic as well, and knew that the acrylic would be in front of each new chipboard shape.
I left this mini album blank, I think it will make a great gift for a friends birthday coming up. The size is just perfect for wallet or instagram photos!
I stamped different graphical images on my acrylic shapes using Stazon Ink.
I added journaling cards and bit of stickers and chipboard from the kit as well.
Aren't the colors dreamy? And there is plenty of room for photos and journaling!
Working with this was a blast! Do not let acrylic or chipboard intimidate you... sit down and tell it who's the boss! ;)
One more project, really quickly.. a layout about my love, Doug.
Our anniversary is this month and we'll celebrate 10 wedded years together and 17 years overall.
You are my Happy!!
I used my big shot to create my own embellishments using the Clear Scraps Acrylic.
Once I cut the butterflies out, I then dry embossed the acrylic and removed the protective film cover. I then used my Copic Marker to color inside the embossed designs. It really makes a statement.
