Good morning friends!
Pinky here today with a photo tutorial on making your own Valentine's Day Home Decor Wall Hanging!
- Trim "Proposal" patterned paper to 7X12".
- Remover protective film from XL Clear Scraps Heart (from kit).
- Place small dots of Beacon Zip Dry adhesive onto top of patterned paper.
- Lay Clear Scraps acrylic heart onto paper.
- Trim off excess (saving scraps for later).
- Trim "Love' Garden" patterned paper to 5 1/4"X9".
- Place adhesive on the back of patterned paper.
- Lay paper over acrylic heart.
- Trim off excess.
- (Not photographes) trim leftover "Proposal" paper 5" wide.
- Punch out edges using scalloped punch.
- Adhere pink paper on top of "Love Garden" paper as shown in photo 1.
- Using 3 blue flowers (from kit) mist or ink with white or cream ink/spritz.
- While still wet- sprinkle with white or clear glitter.
- Shake off excess and dry. (The ink or spritz will hold on to a light coat of glitter)
- Using "Dedicated" paper, trim out 2 strips. One 1X5" and One 1X4".
- Trim edges to pennant shape.
- Place Alphabet letters onto heart and banners as shown in finished photo.
- Adhere strips to front of heart as shown.
- Punch out verious small and large butterflies (or use die cut machine).
- Adhere flowers in right hand upper corner as shown.
- Place cream buttons in the middle of each flower- adhere using Beacon Zip Dry.
- Adhere butterflies on page as desired.
- Using strong wet adhesive such as Beacon- run thin line along exposed edges of acrylic heart.
- Sprinkle with glitter- doing around 4" at a time, then applying adhesive and repeating until all exposed acrylic edges are covered.
- Shake off excess glitter. Set aside to dry.
- Using Pearl Pen, create butterfly trails and fill in any other spaces desired.
- Allow for 20 minutes to dry.
- Carefully punch 2 holes in heart for hanging. (Crop-A-Dile works very well).
- Thread ribbon for hanger. Knot on each end.
