Hello! Jennifer here today to share my March tag along with steps on my technique! I started with a chipboard tag from the Chipboard Tag Album and painted the front with Distress Paint.
Once my tag was dry, I used the new 5x9 Grass Butterfly Layering Stencil. First, using metallic texture paste and the grass portion of the stencil, I lightly applied my paste to the bottom portion of the tag.
It is best to clean off whatever medium you use on your layering stencil right away; water and a paper towel usually does the trick! Next, ensuring my stencil was dry, I applied modeling paste to the butterflies. Confession, I used acrylic paint first but I didn't like how it turned out! LOL So, I covered it up with my modeling paste.
Before lifting my stencil, I sprinkled some Stickles Dry Glitter to the modeling paste to give the butterflies some extra shine!
Once dry, I was ready to embellish my tag with paper and die cuts!
Thank you for stopping by! Hope that our March tags are inspiring you to do some creating with Clear Scraps! Have a great day!
