Don't look at the garland too closely, my children decorated there and sometimes it's hard not to go back and 'fix it'! :)
I am sure you have a wonderful time with your familly and enjoying Christmas holidays. Elena with you today to share some winter inspiration. I've made a set of Christmas tags for my daughter
I used 12x12 Acrylic Sheet and cut out 3 tags with my Big Shot. It is very easy to cut any shape from this sheet so it gives you a variety of alternatives. I wanted to achieve the transparency effect that reminds me the frosty mornings.
I started with the edges and dabbed them in white acrylic paint with a sponge.
Then I misted with a spray the backside and glued some punched branches and snowflakes. I decorated the front of the tag and sprinked white acrylic paint as a final step.
On the backside I added a small paper tag for my notes and sprinkled the white paint again
and the back side
I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
and I hope you will be inspired of my projects next 2013 year too
and you can always check my projects on my blog
Hi, Tonya here today to share with you a fun little card. When I pulled this acrylic word out of my box I wasn't real sure how I was going to go about using it. Then I googled some quotes that included the word Expression Small Courage and found one that I had the perfect papers to go with. It is by John Wayne and worked great with the Sasparilla line from October Afternoon.
I added alcohol inks in both a rust and slate color to the back of the word, super fast and easy!
and the rest of the quote I just hand wrote onto the inside the card.
I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas with your family. I definintely did, but am looking forward to some nice quiet family time before the kids go back to school.

Merry Christmas fellow crafters! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas alongside your loved ones. Kay here sharing a Christmas/Winter themed page. For this page I went with a dark blue, silver & white color palette instead of the usual green & red Christmas colors. I used a Clear Scraps Small Family Expressions for my title.
To give the acrylic title it's texture I followed the same steps I described in my 'Christmas 2012' page a few posts ago. The only change I made is that I gave the Diamond Dust the blue & silver color with alcohol inks this time instead of acrylic paint.
Just apply drops of alchol inks onto your alcohol ink applicator and dab the inks directly ontop of the Diamond Dust. Alcohol inks are not opaque and will not take the shimmer away from the Diamond Dust--it'll simply give the Diamond Dust a bit of color.
You can find more close ups & details for this page on my blog. Enjoy the rest of your holiday week & have a fabulous New Year. I'll be seeing you all again come 2013!

Merry Christmas Clear Scraps friends!!!
Pinky here with another handmade ornament project today.
I am really in the ornament making mood and when I found these mini Expressions from Clear Scraps in my pile of goodness I thought it would be PERFECT to create even more fun ornaments.
Step 1. Remover protective film from the back of the Expressions. Leaving the front film in tact.
Step 2. Coat back of Expressions in adhesive and glitter, set aside to dry.
Step 3. Take Bell Mini Album or any wintery design from Clear Scraps, remove both sides of protective film.
Step 4. Using embossing adhesive- apply embossing enamel or powder to edges on the adhesive.
Step 5. GENTLY and slowly heat set using embossing gun. Just lightly place heat on and remove quickly, working your way around the Clear Scraps acrylic. If it begins to warp immediately remove heat then press gently with finger or tweezers.
Step 6. Using Crop-A-Dile punch small holes where you want to thread ornament.
Step 7. Thread ornament using thin mesh ribbon. Knotting in the back.
Step 8. Create bow using same ribbon, adhere to top of Bell Mini Album Page.
Not only easy but beautiful and handmade!
I wish I had my tree up to photograh but it's not quite ready yet, I will be sure to share when it's up and on the tree!
Until next time- Happy Crafting

Yes it is.....Hello everyone!!! This is Adora, wishing you all a wonderful and a merry Christmas. The only thing left to do for me is to cook Christmas eve dinner for the entire family :) . This is a tradition I would like to keep for as long as I could. As time goes by, kids grow up and things will change, but for now I am it, my home is the place to be for my family to celebrate. I love it!!
Today i will share this hanging decor or it can be used as an ornament as well. It's easy to make :) - I spray painted the acrylics in white. I added few embellishements and tied it together as shown. So much fun to make and I really love how it turned out. :)
Thanks for stopping by!! HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS and a BLESSED 2013 to come!
Love - Peace & Joy
Hello everyone! Today, I would like to share with you all a fun layout which I've created. I've used a small acrylic angel and a small acrylic stocking by Clear Scraps to make this layout fun and interactive.
You will understand what I mean with the pictures below.
The photograph on this layout can be pop up and doubled as a home decor piece. If you look carefully, I've attach an acrylic angel peeking out on its left.
On the right of the layout is actually an open up little book for journaling. You can journal your wishes for your guests there or have you guests write some wishes there. I've inserted a small acrylic stocking there which serves as a cute bookmark or you can give it as a small gift for your guests.
Hope you all like this interactive layout and try creating one this Christmas! Have a wonderful Christmas!!

Good afternoon Clear Scraps friends,
I know this is Authentique week and everyone has been creating such beautiful projects...I thought since we are in full swing with Christmas it was a good time to jump in with more handmade ornaments.
On the acrylic side I used Liquid Pearls and glitter to highlight some of the beautiful vintage print from the papers. It was not only easy to make, but it looks beautiful on the tree.
Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas friends-
Until next time- Pinky Hobbs: Clear Scraps Design Team
